i woke up this morning to Jude peacefully fast asleep next to me. i smiled as i studied the lines on his youthful face knowing that in 50 years, we would still be waking up next to each other; that the smooth lines would one day become wrinkles, that our hands would one day become rough and old but they would still be holding, and that one day we would be seeing our own children, grandchildren and maybe even our great grand children run into the room and pounce onto our bed to wake us up. i held my husband tight knowing that in that perfect moment, the visions of a thousand other moments in our future became so real to me as if they were already memories. time could feel like an eternity in one moment. but then again, a moment could feel so small compared to the rest of our lives. im just so blessed that i’ve found the right person to share them with.
i love you Jude, i can’t wait to grow old with you.
Anything is possible if you put your heart, mind and soul into it. Do the things you love with passion. Pray, and God will take care of you. Don’t give up despite the downfalls. Chase your dreams and you’ll get there eventually. It does take time. Perseverance and patience is key.
And how much I love talking to you. How happy you make me. How good you look when you smile. How much I love your laugh. I day-dream about you constantly, always replaying pieces of our conversations, and laughing at the funny things you said. I really hope that something will come out of this.
